The Atlantic Provinces Library Association (APLA) is holding its 2020 annual conference in the beautiful Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia on the Acadia University campus, June 9 – 12, 2020.

Each spring, APLA holds one of the most popular library events east of Montreal where  approximately 150 librarians, library administrators, library technicians and assistants, and library supporters across the Atlantic provinces gather to engage in an environment of learning and collaboration.

The success of any conference depends on its sponsorship from companies and organizations like yourself.  We are committed to making our sponsors and exhibitors as visible as possible at APLA 2020, recognizing that these partnerships are integral to success.

Your organization can help to support APLA 2020 by either exhibiting at the conference or sponsoring the conference with financial or in-kind donations. Exhibitors can also choose to sponsor as well, increasing the visibility of your organization.  Donations of all denominations will be accepted, and put towards coffee breaks, events, and other costs associated with professional conferences. We also welcome items that can be used for door prizes, speaker gifts, and pens or pads of paper for delegates.

There are two options to reserve your spot as an exhibitor at APLA 2020:

Option 1: $600 + HST per table if paid on or before March 31, 2020.

Option 2: $700 + HST per table if paid on or after April 1, 2020.

Two representatives are included in the table rental cost.  Additional representatives @ $100 + HST/representative.

Each table (6’ x 2.5’) includes a tablecloth and skirting for exhibit display in the Beveridge Arts Centre at Acadia University.  Costs include coffee and lunches. Power supply will be provided upon request. Company logos will be included in the programs’ vendor listing.

Held in the beautiful Garden Room in the KC Irving Environmental Centre, delegates will enjoy the many local wines, beer and cider that the Annapolis Valley has to offer. Enjoy a sampling of Nova Scotia’s finest hot and cold appetizers, including scallops, lobster, miniature beef wellington, satays, grilled polenta, snow crab cakes, spanakopita, and a selection of international cheeses.

A little downtime may be in order on Wednesday evening after dinner on your own. Guests can roast marshmallows and make s’mores around the campfire located in the beautiful KCIC Botantical Gardens. Enjoy a local beer or cider in the walled garden and explore the native plants growing inside and outside the KC Irving Centre.
