This year, APLA will be trialing a Career Centre for library students and recent graduates (anyone who has graduated within the past 3-5 years). The Career Centre will be completely free and run by local library professionals from across Atlantic Canada. You do not need to be an APLA member to participate in the Career Centre, however, APLA memberships are free for students.
At the Career Centre, we will be offering mock interviews (1 hour) and resume/cover letter critiques (45 minutes). To sign-up for APLA’s Career Centre, please fill out this form: https://tinyurl.com/APLACareerCentre.
Please direct any questions or comments to APLA’s Communications Coordinator, Courtney Pyrke at contact [at] APLA [dot] ca
Note: The Career Centre will be closed during APLA Key Note presentations/sessions.
*Special thank you to the Ontario Library Association Super Conference Planning Committee for their support throughout the planning of APLA’s Career Centre.
